MY TRIBUTE TO HORSE CAMP

Southern District Horse Camp. What all can I say about it? It was the greatest thing in my life. It has influenced a lot of the things that I have done in the past 8 years. I look forward to camp every year. In 2000, I was the Seneca Cheif. I had so much fun and I'll never forget any one that helped that year.

My sag that year was Courtney Caswell, who is one of my greatest friends. We made a promise on the last night that we were gonna see each other at least once a week 'cause we only live like 5 minutes away from each other. Oh well! So we didn't keep that promise. So sue us. We still keep in touch though on the internet. This year she was cheif, and I missed her wonderful job. However, the whole tribe has told me that she did a wonderful job and that a better person couldn't have followed the greatest chief of all (ME!!!) LOL! Just kidding, Court!!!!

Last year was the first year for the HO Train. Members included me, Kala Cox, Brooke Dearien, Courtney Caswell, Cara Beth England, and Megan Gwinn. It wasn't any thing special, just a bunch of us hanging out and being some of the greatest friends in the world. "GET ABOARD THE HO TRAIN!!! WHOO HOO!!!!

If you've never been to a camp before, you don't know what you are missing. We make some of the greatest friends in the world and you never lose them. You may lose touch for a while, but eventually you will always find one another again. You'll also get some of the silliest nicknames at camp. GO MOUNTAIN DEW GIRL!!!! (LOL MEGAN!!)

A POEM FROM MY FIRST YEAR

First thing in the morning

Hold on tight,

I can't get it closed.

I think he's good.

I can't hit him on the butt.

He won't go.

He stunk up the barn.

He bucked like a banshee.

His pad is slipping.

Do who?

I use chains on him.

You'd better give me one.

My hair is hay.

My light needs a stall.

I gotta spend it.

The worst is

sleeping with

me.

I'm not in the

mood.

I would give you my shirt,

She won't walk.
